Default 2008 T&C Engine stalls while driving at low RPM

For the past year I've been having a problem with my 2008 T&C, 4.0L. When driving at low RPM, the engine quits, usually it's when I take my foot off of the gas, and in a turn it's dangerous because the power steering cuts out and my wife doesn't have the strength to manually keep the car in a turn. It doesn't happen daily, only about once a month, but now it's happening almost daily.

We've taken it to the dealer 3 or 4 times over the past year, and they can't find a problem, but they said it could be a weak battery, so they talked my wife into replacing it 6 months ago, which I didn't agree with, but I was out of town at the time.

It seemed to fix it for about a month, but it started acting up again, same problem. It just happened twice today, and I was able to get the fault code, P0406. which is "internal control module RAM"

Is this simply a computer problem that will be fixed with a computer swap? If not, I've got to get rid of the car, because it's too dangerous to have my wife driving a car that will stall and be too much for her to control with the power sterring out.

I have the exact same problem. Curious to know if it was ever fixed.
