Recently I have started having an issue with the remote keyless entry working sporadically. When I press the unlock or locking button on the FOB it sometimes takes several attempts (10+) to get a response.

I have changed the battery and tried both FOBs that I have and have the same issue. I have checked and changed the fuse in the engine bay that is related. I have unconnected the battery and let it sit for 20 minutes and still nothing. It seems that it works better sometimes and then it just starts acting up and takes numerous tries to get it to work.

I don't know what to check next. Through research I have heard about the WIN and RKE Modules, but not sure which or what to check. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
