Question CD/Radio display has gone blank

Hi, my radio and CD player have been working fine but the other day I went to change the radio station using the button behind the steering wheel and the next thing I know the whole display on the radio has gone blank, the odd thing is that the radio and CD player works fine, I just can't see which station I am listening to or what CD track I am on or the time. a little problem I know but it is really bugging me that on my trip to work I go to look at the time and realise I cant.
Has anyone had this issue before?

I have this issue continually if I don't turn up the lighting dimmer wheel to first white spot when lights are on...

When I bought my first GV the dealer replaced the standard Radio/CD player with a SatNav unit so I still have the original Radio/CD unit. It's never been used at all. If it's the same unit as your faulty one then you're welcome to it, but you'll need to cover the cost of carriage.

The unit, without packaging, weighs 2.2 Kg and measures 230mm x 180mm x 90mm. I just priced this with the Royal Mail on-line and it works out at £12.98.

You might know a courier service that will do it cheaper.

Alan
