Default Cheap way clearing stored code??

How do i clear a code thats stored on my car. Have the Torque android app but sadly doesnt seem to work on my 2001 Grand Voyager. The issue has since been resolved but the code still there

What cheap OBD11 tool can i buy off ebay to do this or its a dealer job and how much should i expect to cough up?

Thanks

Ordinary P code ODB's can be taken off even with the Tourque app you have B C & manufacturer U codes will need a pro reader.

QuinteQ my Torque app is not working on the Grand Voyager. have tried 3 different adapters off ebay. The app is whowing revs correctly i think but everything else is off, temp shows 200+ fahreinheit. When i do key dance its bringing up camshaft sensor code but when i run a scan for codes with torque it says no codes found

Could it be i keep getting rubbish/fake adapters. Where did you get your adapter?

The torque pro or any other OBDII adapter will only give you emission related faults - that is what OBDII standard is about.

If it's still showing a cam sensor error, then I would say you still have a fault, possibly an intermittent one

Have you tried disconnecting the negative battery cable for 30 seconds.

Took he car for a long drive 256 mile round trip to Craig Tara holiday camp and it was performing faultlessly then it jerked and revs dropped to 1000. Tried to rev the engine and it cut out. Tried to restart it and took for ever to start and when it did the engine light was on. Drove away and engine was performing fine albeit with engine light on. Did a key dance and the stored code p0340 is gone and there is a new one p168.5?

P1685 is a SKIM/SKREEM error, nothing unusual to see one of those and nothing to worry about.
