401 egr system failure 403 egr solenoid ckt. 9 times out of 19 its the egr which comes with a new solenoid
It works when the van puts back the unburned fuel and air back into the chamber and makes the temp lower.

Thanks for the fast reply. Should I take it to dealer or is it something I could do myself? I'm fairly handy...brake jobs, resistor block, etc...

ummm yeah u can give it a try buy the part fist and look at it U will see the assembly and 2 bolts 10mm. It should be located on the passanger side near the top of the engine with a connector attached to it. PS dont unplug your batt to try and reset the codes. If the problem is fixed the computer will know it and turn it off for u. This is how u do that replace the part stasrt the van up let it run for 4 min do this 2 times. The go for a road test ooo 10 miles then cycle the key off then on again and it should turn off, dont worry if it does not all that mean is that the computer has to run the test at the same settings that the code was first set for if it has not cleared by a week then do the batt. Why i want u to do it that way is because the van will haft to learn how u drive all over again and your fuel economy will be bad for about a month untill it learns how u drive again.
Enjoy

P0455-EVAP LEAK MONITOR LARGE LEAK DETECTED
try your gas cap first make sure its clicked 3 times. The look under the van on the driver side there are a set of hoses that like to crack and cause leaks. A black box with hoses in that area.
