Chrysler Starscan Desktop client help
Hi all new to this Chrysler forum.
I recently purchased a laptop off eBay with the official Chrysler star scan software (desktop client) on it, and it didn't come with the cable to connect the vehicle, my problem is that I don't know which cable i need. If anyone can point me in the right direction it will be much appreciated thanks
Laptop: Dell laptop
Software: Chrysler star scan desktop client

well u forgot one small item its not a cable its a starmobile or a Vpod that u need and on ebay they go for about 500 to 1000
and also u wont be able to use it because it required a dealer log in and if U don't work for them u don't have one.

- I bow to your wisdom CHRYSLER TECH but is it really that way for a lappie?
- like this one by TYCO
- its a Starscan CANBUS not a DRBIII
- you can surely go WLAN, Ethernet or even BlueTooth .. its only a lappie - it won't even remotely care
- I agree with your dealer log in comments ref Chryslers Virtual Private Network, particularly with 'flashing' and 'screem' etc
Buyers of S/H kit off flea bay always take a big chance, even if they manage to make a connection to TechAuthority they can be shut down immediately.
