Chrysler T&C will rev 3 times but won't start
#21
Hi - Try this: The next time it won't start, bang on the dashboard right above the gauge cluster a few times, then see if it starts - If it does, it's probably that gauge cluster circuit board. NOTE. I took 5 minutes to remove the gauge cluster & the car DID start without it. After all that you've been through, gambling another $35-50 for a cluster from the salvage yard is less than half wat you'd pay for an hour of diagnostics at the dealer. If it works, you're in great shape! Be sure to check the color of the connector on the back of your gauge cluster before ordering one, though. See my previous post (above), and good luck.

no odometer and no gauges
last Saturday Morning my 99 t & C limited cranked and died, 3-4 times no gauges and no odometer and no PRND31. After researching a lot of post I ended up pulling out the dash cluster and soldered the red plug pin back on the printed circuit board (pcd) . Put every thing back together and have no problems since. Seems someone should tell Chrysler about this fix..??
