Flashing switches after gearbox change

Flashing switches after gearbox change
I have a 98 RHD 3.3 auto grand voyager. It has recently had a gearbox replacement and was sat around for a few weeks before the gearbox was fitted so the battery had gone flat.On recharging the battery everything works ok and it starts and drives fine but the switches for the aircon and rear window wipers & demister flash once the ignition is on. I had to put the code into the radio to get this to work but the switch lights still flash while still working with no problems.
Are the flashing switches some kind of warning lights to alert me to another problem or can someone give me an explanation of what the problem may be. I did have a look in the manual but could not see anything relating to flashing switches.
Your help will be much appreciated
Thanks
Lee

Hi
just need resetting press and hold the rear wash and rear wiper till all the lights start flashing after a minute you should have just the rear washer flashing, press this to exit. then it will just be the air con rec lights flashing so now you need to do a cool down test to do this you press and hold the ac and rear wiper button still they start flashing again after a minute or so should be left with just rear wash light again.
This is all from memory I could do it if it was in front of me if it doesn't work I'll look it up.
