Default Front Heated seats not working

Hi there all

I have an issue with my 2003 Voyager 2.5 CRD Ive been through the forum reading all the different posts about this... but im still not clear as to where the seat plugs are as i want to check if any current is getting to them the drivers seat adjusts ok but is not heating up nether is the passenger side i also want to check the pads in the seats for continuity too.

i did read in one post about taking the battery leads off and touching them together to reset it .... is that safe as im worried it,ll do damage to some other electronic component in the car

Any advice would be great on this or is there anything else i can check to correct this issue

Pete........

No idea where the seat plugs are, taking the battery leads off and clamping them together for 12 hours to try to destroy redundant codes will do no harm, however I've never known it work on modern [EEPROM's] vehicles. Pulling the NEG battery cable off for more than 15 minutes will have as much benefit.

Default heated seats

According to the owner's manual, the plugs and fuses are under the seats.

Thanks for the reply's guys

Bypress i dont have the owners manual i never had one with the car but do you know if you have to remove the seat to gain access to them

QinteQ ill try that but i don't like the idea of touching the leads together unless anyone tells me otherwise ill just try disconnecting them for 15 mins like you said to if see if it does anything.

What i failed to put on my original post was is that the lights on the seat switches do light up when you put them on
