Grand Voyager 2.5TD 1996 starter removal
Hello all,
my Grand Voyager just had it's engine rebuilt and it worked fine for a couple of months, then suddenly when I arrived home from a vacation trip and later was about to go to the store the engine would not start. It is probably a electrical/ starter related issue and so far I have checked the following:
- the clutch pedal switch that has to be pressed for the engine to start
- the starter relay
- the ignition switch
I'm suspecting that the starter solenoid could be dead, but I'm having trouble figuring out the necessary procedures to gain acces to the starter. As you probably know there is not that much excess space under the hood and based on the manuals that I have, correct me if I'm wrong, the starter motor and solenoid are located on the rear side of the engine.
Any help would be very appreciated.
