Default AC not working

Hi, Im new here. Name is Jeroen and I read you're problem and am very curious how it worked out because I have exactly the same problem with a Voyager 2,4 SE 2002. The dealer said probably the sensor is broken so I eplaced it with no result. Still -40 and no AC.
Started with the wiring but stopped because I have no electrical schedule. Also read something about setting some buttons on the display.

Let me know if you're AC works again and what the problem finally was.

Thanks,

Jeroen (Holland)

Hi
It seems like you have a similar problem as me. merlin is sure that it's an electrical problem. I have been to a few auto electricians but nobody is willing to look at it so I have the car booked in at the dealers on the 6th of July they will do a diagnostic. I will let you know the outcome In the mean time if you sort yours out let me know. regards

Hi Merlin Just a quick question, with the temp sensor having a wiring fault would that be picked up on a diagnostic system. The reason I am asking I had a diagnostic done at a local garage and on the test it said no response for the temp sensor, there were no fault codes at all the only other thing that came up was a message saying ( reset rear blend switch span) and the garage did not know the meaning.thanks.

Would depend on the diagnostic machine. Not seen that message before.

Hi,
Called with the garage and they said to try to connect the AC directly, if that works it has to do with the Fan-unit in the car. To connect the AC directly we need a electrical schedule (voyager, 2.4 2002). Can anybody help us with that.
Thnks,

Jeroen

Default problem solved

Hi,
Put my car to the garage yesterday and they diagnotised that the module (above your rearview mirror) which measures the temperature and the compass was broken. They replaced it and the AC works perfectly.
Hope this solves other problems.

Thnks Jeroen
