Default headlight switch backlighting

On my '06, there's no backlighting for the headlight switch, power mirror controls, power window & locks. I assume this is "correct" from the factory, at least it is according to this thread in the Dodge Forum for the Caravan http://www.dodgeforum.com/m_158261/tm.htm

Is it true there are sockets for bulbs behind the headlight switch? Has anybody added bulbs here?

Has anyone installed some "custom lighting" here? It looks like a good job for an LED or two ...

TIA,

GHL

I just had my 06 in the shop yesterday for the same thing. On my older Chrysler Voyager there was illumination of the switches. On the 06 there isn't. The dealer told me that it was only available on the most expensive limited edition. Seems kind of strange that you have to fidget for the mirror and light switches at night.
