Headlights
I bought a used 98 T&C a while back. I dont drive it often, the wife does. We went out tonight and it was raining and I noticed how bad the headlights suck. This is the first van Ive ever had. I drive home from work in the dark and the headlights on my other 2 cars seem to be a lot brighter than the ones on the van. They are aimed fine , they just dont seem bright enough. Do the bulbs get dimmer over time? They are both working. They look like the kind that reflect off of the back of the headlight assembly. Is that just the way this type of headlight is or is there something that can be done to make them better?

RE: Headlights
Not sure if this would help or not, but my company makes a headlight restoration kit (Link) that is designed to remove minor pits, scratches, and discolorization from the OUTSIDE of plastic headlights. It can make a difference in the light output of a marred lens. If you have gotten water inside the unit, the inside reflecting material could be affected. This kit will not restore that type of damage. By the way that's my Nissan headlamp in the product photos. Both Home Handyman and Popular Mechanics have tried this product with good results too.

RE: Headlights
Its amazing how much technology works just to advertise. In the previous post where I mentioned headlight restoration kit, the sponsors or whoever, ran a word check and added their own link to a headlight restoration product. Please be aware that is not the product I'm talking about. It is the product by Permatex found in the "link" afterward.
