Headlights giving me the blues
Here's the problem from the beginning... Dec 05, got signal from van that headlamp was out with daytime running lights on, all other lights worked fine, so I changed bulb... 2 days later, turned headlights on: passenger side light was worked on low beam/driver's side on high beams never together... took to dealer they changed the light switch and BCM... lights worked except didn't have daytime lights at all... fast forward to now... my van has been at the dealer for 8 days with the same issue listed above... now they say, mind you AFTER they put a new BCM on it that didn't fix the issue, that I need a POWER DISTRIBUTION PANEL!! Can anyone help me??

RE: Headlights giving me the blues
no that sounds correct in the PDC because of the headlights outputs are controled by the FCM and PDC. Basicly they did not even look in the BCM to see if the headlight switch was showing the request to turn on the lights or not shame on the dealer. Did u pay for the repair or under warranty??

Well this is starting to be a trend and think after all the noise I made when I was going through this it would've been a tech bullentin by know. I went through all the same stuff and turned out to be a software issue not hardware. Take it back to the dealer and tell them you want the new revision of software loaded into the BCM and I can almost gaurntee it will fix it. That is if they load it right.

I almost resorted to that method myself but beingstubborn fool thatI am had to know what it was. I went through the schematic several times myself and everything tested out good and it was driving me crazy. This is why I took it to the dealer figuring they would fix it in a hour. After 5 visits and allot of heated phone calls it was finally fixed. Fortuanetly in my case I started yelling on the first visit when they said the headlight switch which I just put in the day before was no good. Told them before I paid for it that was not the problem and talked to the service manager and made sure he wouldn't forget me for I knew I would be back with the same problem. In the end they changed the BCM, Turn signal switch & two headlight switches for $150. The really where bending over backwards for me in the end.

I am sorry that u got a dealer or a set of techs that dont know anything about the layout of the electrical system of your van.
It makes me mad as well when the shop forman or service mananger comes out to me and says ooo we have a heat case and we need for u to look at this car for what ever the prob is and i fix it with in 1/4 of the time and parts that has been spent already guessing at what the prob is. With a few simple tests and the problem is currently at hand it can be found with some ease.
Again sorry that u got ahold of some not up to par people and dont let it make u made to go back to a dealer becasue infact speaking for the dealers we are the last line as far as fixing cars that other after market shops cant fix. =)
