Default help! uconnect problem

Okay...I just purchased an 05 town /country limited with the Uconnect. I have read the intructions on setting up bluetooth phone, and even watched the CD on it. It is my understanding from watching the CD that the system should say "ready" when the 'phone' button is pressed on the mirror...however when i press mine...there is nothing. Dead! The little light next to the 'voice' button doesn't light up either. Would this be a fuse problem or something major?? any help / suggestions before I take it in would be great. I checked the wiring on the back of the mirror and everything looks to be snug.

Thanks in advance
Berta

ok a few questions do u hear the ready beep or prompt when u press the PHONE on the mirror?
IS your phone blue tooth compatible? once u get the ready prompt u have to set teh phone up to do the samething and that is done through the phones manual.

No...there is nothing happening when I press the phone button....dead silence. No beep, nothing. Could it be a fuse??

My phone is compatible it is razr v3 and is on the list of compatible phones.
