If anyone needs help in Surrey UK

hi scruffy,
Gear change on my 51 crd voyager is a struggle. They are just stiff when trying to shift from 1 to the next. When in gear and pedal is down all the way, the car still tries to move and also vibrates a lot. I have had conflicting advise from mechanics, what is your opinion please. I am in Sussex, so not ar from you.
Thanks

You have a clutch problem, it is not disengaging properly. Could well be the master/slave cylinder, thrust bearing or clutch fork. You could get someone to watch the clutch fork whilst you slowly press the clutch pedal. If it starts to move immediately then it may be the fork or bearing. If it takes a while for the movement on the pedal to translate to movement on the fork then it is the master/slave.
