Default major oil problem

hi all, new here

I have 1997 voyager 3.3 v6.
Ihave a bad oil problem, rocker noise.
Took rocker covers off, traced noise to rear head...no oil pumping up to top (front head oil pumping perfect)

I removed rear head and found oil hole clogged up.(cleaned and put back with new head gasket)

Poured oil down 2nd bolt hole(oil flow) oil disappears(means hole clear)

started engine.... oil still not flowing to rocker shaft, but getting to two hydraulic tappets(not all six)

Any help will be appreciated..thanks

You usually do prime lifters by soaking them overnight in an oil bath, covering the lifter tops. I usually use a clean tin can and stack the lifters on top of each other. Use fresh oil, the same as what your engine fill will be.
If the lifters are already installed, then start the engine and let it idle until the tapping stops. This may take 20 mins or so.

Marvel Mystery Oil added to the crankcase, by substuting it for a quart of oil, will clean and stop lifter tapping. It also will clean a gunked/sluged up engine over a few oil changes. With dino oil I always use it in all my engines. I don't know if this product is available in the UK.
