Default MyGig - Flash Drive Size

when I purchased my 08 T&T Touring, I uploaded a bunch of my music via the USB drive port. My flash drive is a 1GB model and it takes way too long for this task. As I have a ot of music, I am thinking about buying either an 8Gb or a 16GB flash drive to handle the uploads.

My question is, has anyone used a larger flash drive (8GB or 16GB) on your system and had any issues with drive recognition or file loads?

Default RE: MyGig - Flash Drive Size

Yes! I just purchased an OCZ ATV 16GB USB Flash Stick from Amazon.com for $67 dollars after a $10 mail in rebate.

I loaded a total of 15GB of music files on the stick and it took 2hrs. 10 min. to upload all of it onto the MyGig hard drive.

I then deleted all the music off the MyGig hard drive and that only took about 7 min. to do.

Just make sure you have your albums saved as folders and don't put folders into upper level folders or MyGig will
have trouble with it. Just use one level folders for your music.

And make sure your digital pictures are stored at the main root level directory of the USB flash stick. Don't put them
in a folder and drag that onto your USB stick. Make sure you crop and or resize your pictures down to 240 x 158 pixels.

Thanks and see you out there,
