Navigation disc - QUESTIONS FOR USERS T&C
Alright I just got my NAV disc and I have questions for the users out there. My 06 T&C did not come with the NAV disc so I hopped on EBAY and picked one up for about $54 and it just arrived so I popped it in and lo and behold I have navigation. My questions are:
#1. Do you just leave the disc in all the time?
#2. Do you guys actually use it? With cell phones doing everything these days,
is it easy enough to use or do you folks out there find it easier to use your
phone. I bought the disc originally just to have because the van didn't
come with it. Your thoughts?

#2. Yes. I use mine a lot, even in familiar areas because the satnav often finds shorter routes and/or quieter routes than otherwise. It's not that easy to use, particularly in the UK where you need to select the country each time before entering the destination address, but with practice it becomes easy. Routes on cell phones are usually more up-to-date than satnav discs but the audio instructions aren't as clear, they are distracting to use and use a lot of battery power.
