Oil Level high (fuel in oil?)
#11
Yes, from what I've read it can be quite hard (or expensive)to pinpoint. As theres no notable difference to the starting or running, I'm hoping it's not much.
Biodiesel tends to clean the fuel system, this normally leads to a blocked fuel filter (normally a good bit before 4k miles though, my Audi's had 2 filters in 1600 miles).
The reading I've done suggests that the filter could throw up a p1130.

I have a 2.8CRD '05 with a P1130 code too, but mine shut off on heavy acceleration. I changed the filter and the support, but nothing is changed. I haven't the lift pump (from 2005 Chrysler eliminate it (!)), and it should be that the AP pump can't suck enough diesel from the tank, so the pressure in the rail go down and the ecu shut off.
I'm thinking to install an external low pressure (0,5bar) pump and see what happens.

9/10 it will be a injector leaking off too much fuel to the tank this is a simple test if you have the tubes that go in the top of the injector i had the same issue p1130 fuel regulator reading too high because it was trying to compensate for the loss of pressure at the injector
like i said this test should be performed first before changing anything expensive

I thought to an injector too. I'll perform a back leak test. I know that the ammount of fuel leaked from each injector should be about the same, but i don't know how much is the right quantity: do you know?
Which could be the causes of an injector leaking back too much?

with the tubes on and engine running it will be obvious like with mine 3 were filling a small amount and one almost filled right up so that was the culprit
its just the internal seals that get weak and let the fuel return to the tank unfortunatly thia wont be picked up by the ecu as it is a seal failure not electrical
the reason they cut out when accelerating is that because the regulator is trying to compensate the ecu sees too much pressure and cuts the engine

Thats me just MOT'd it, 2 x anti roll bar tie rods, 2 x track rod ends, 1 x front disc (done both), headlight bulb, wheel bearing, 2 x front abs sensors, handbrake work.
£145 for parts I bought, £420 at garage (£210 + VAT for 2 sensors from chrysler), £40 MOT.
But the bonus part is the engine management light (for whatever reason) isnt lit any more.
