Online purchase - Chrysler Extended Warranty?
Has anyone dealt with any of the following online warranty sellers?
They all state that they are selling the genuine Chrysler Factory extended warranty, and NOT a third party policy. The pricing is extremely favorable compared to my local dealer, about 47% cheaper to be exact. Your comments are appreciated.

Best bet is to buy the warranty from the dealer. I had an issue with my extended warranty and the dealer had to correct the issueat no charge. Not sure if I would have had the same results from a thrid party warranty company. You can definitely negotiate the price of the warranty with the dealer.

I have the same question as the initial poster. I know this thread is old, but there is such a huge difference in pricing that I want to make sure I'm not being gouged by a dealer warranty or scammed by an online warranty.
It's over a $2,000 difference. Their claim is the reason they can sell for such a discount is because they "sell to a national market, instead of just to our local market, [they] are able to offer volume pricing to our customers." I don't see any difference in the policies.
I also can't seem to find anything negative about the above online warranty sources, or anything that says they aren't authentic mopar warranties. I asked a dealer who is offering the "same" extended warranty (or service contract) about these websites and all he said was "They aren't us. You have to be careful about those places." Which is a vague answer and I'm more suspicious that it's just a scare tactic. I may call back and ask some more pointed questions but I doubt I'll get straight answers.
Anyway, has anyone purchased a lifetime mopar service contract from one of these sources and had a problem with them not being mopar?
(By the way, I understand how these warranties / extended service contracts work. They don't cover wear-and-tear or things like brakes and hoses. But I have a T&C van with all the bells & whistles. I want to make sure the computers, screens and all the electronics are covered for a very long time, as well as the big things that often go wrong with these vans.)

If you have a genuine Mopar warranted product put your VIN and Name into the central dBase and check. Call free Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET or Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET at 1-800-521-9922 and ask.
Your conundrum is the verification code is issued by the seller - and only at that point can you verify its a Mopar.
