oversize tires?

Default oversize tires?

hey guys... on a 2006 touring with OEM 215x65x16... how much bigger of a tire can i install w/o problems? thinkin of maybe a 225x70.. what you think ? thanks alot

I have 225/60 16 on my T@c i think 70" would be too tall, look for a tire size calculator.

Unless you want to spend on a new set of rims, 235 60 16's are the biggest that will fit and maintain the correct rolling radius. You can of course fit the 225 65 16's but that will knock your speedo out by [read high by] about 2%+, and may need additional shims to be fitted to account for the 'offset'.
