P0135 & P1193 DTC activated codes
I have a 2003 Voyager I had a dtc code P0135. I changed the gas cap, reset the code but, got the same code a few days later. I then changed the upstream 02 senor and reset the dtc code. A view days went by and the code P0135 activated again.
I took the vehicle to a brand name auto repair shop and evap test completed. I was informed that both the upper and lower intate manifold gaskets were bad as the gaskets were leaking and could be the cause why the code was coming on. I was then given a written estimate for $600 to fix the gaskets. I declined and started the vehicle and a few minutes later the engine light went out for about two days. I re-checked and got the same code P0135. Now, I am receiving a second code P1193 along with P0135. Any solutions in the future.

P1193 means you have high voltage on the Inlet Air Temp (IAT) sensor circuit. You may have a bad connection, open wire, faulty sensor or PCM. High resistance (an open in the circuit) makes the voltage read high. http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/dr...1_170114_1.gif
P0135 means the heater circuit on the upstream sensor is faulty. Could have an open wire, faulty sensor or PCM. If you installed a Bosch sensor try an OEM sensor. Bosch sensors have a history of creating headaches on these vans.

Thanks for the tip Raptor 07:
I went and got a new sensor (had the vin# crossed reference to verify the same part). I installed it about a week ago and since then the engine light has not activated again, and the vehicle is still running fine.
The sensor that I did remove was a Denso Oxygen Sensor not a Bosch product, unless Bosch is some how part of Denso.
Anyways thanks again, it's good to know someone is still out there willing to help a strange.
