P1130 Grand Voyager (Help required)
Right well another strange one for the p1130 list...
For the past 3 weeks or so, my 2.5 CRD 2002 has had a very intimmitent problem...
Once in a blue moon, she just wouldnt start... you would leave her alone for 10 minutes and she would start - as long as you hadnt tried to crank it in mean time.
This slowly got worse over last few days to stalling when turning corners at low revs... and then not starting at all for another 20 minutes or so if left alone.
Then she would drive perfect as if not a care in the world...
And then today, she stalled on a busy roundabout - wouldnt start for about 30 mins, eventually started and then whilst i was on the phone to Chrysler, died again... Another 30 mins she started again - I got onto the A3 and as I slowed for a speed camera, the car just lost all power and died never to start again - so I waited 4 hours for the RAC to tow me home.
The difference with this and other topics is that the car had no loss of power prior to failures and motors beautifully - in fact yesterday drove to bournemouth and back 2.5 hours at a constant 90 without a hitch.
I did change the fuel filter yesterday morning.... As I tightened the housing she seemed to want to tighten up more but the connector wire would not reach if i did it much more... but wouldnt turn enough to do another full revolution...
Chrysler reckon the p1130 would mean the oxygen sensor circuit low variance and adised changing the oxygen sensor bank1 sensor 1 - cost about £150.
Before I splash out... any advice?

Just a little more info...
If I switch the ignition on but do not turn over the engine, the rear fuel pump seems to be a bit noisey... a bit like a fish tank that has dirty filters kind of noise...
Is it easy to change / clean the filter inside the fuel tank?

probably an injector issue you need to do a leak off test on the injectors
i have the tubes to carry this test out , where are you?
i had a similar problem returned to the car in a carpark and wouldnt fire
then it did start it didnt do it again for a few days then it did it again had it plugged in came up with the same code you have and the machine also stated that the reading from the fuel regulator was too high (valve on the back of the pump) but when i did the leak off test one injector was faulty
the reason for the high reading for the valve was that the ecu was seeing a drop in pressure so upped the pressure to compensate
now the car is o.k
