Please..... help my rear window wiper and rear washer has stoped...
Hi, everyone I am having a dillemma with my van lately, I have been working around the van and trying to keep it up to date as possible, but the rear wiper and the washer has stopped working. I checked the fuses but that did not fix anything. I want know what else can it be, can It be the motor and If so where Is It located. HELP A.S.A.P.

The motor is located right at the base of the wiper. They don't last forever. Check your local parts store for an aftermarket replacement. It's not a big deal to pull off the interior trim panel and get the old one out. I was able to do it on my old '95 Voyager with a couple of hour's work.

Does the washer have some kind of a senor to sence the motor not working and so the washer stops to.

I am referring to your question, What year van I have, I have a 01 Town & country and I have just replaced the motor with an aftermarket motor. I had to wire the motor, meaning I had to cut off the harness connector from my old motor and use that one on my new motor. So I am now trying to work this new motor but It's not working. The question here I have now Is the new wiring I just did for the motor and does the colors have to match so the motor works. What else could of I have done or should I have done, because the problem Is still there.

To side w/ Chrysler Tech, I was confused by the brief mention of a motor too. You cleared it up better w/ your second reply. You left out a little more detail.... did the motor come w/ install directions? How did you know what to wire? Did you get it from a place you can ask how it is wired? Do you have a wire diagram for the car so you can tell if power is actually going through the right wires when motor is told to be on via the switch?

I have the same problem, well a few more but this one for sure. I took everything apart and i also applied 12vdc to the motor and it works. The switch also lights up when i push it on the dash. I am thinking bcm. Does anyone have any input. Thanks
