HI, have had airbag light come on, since then instrument panel lights not working also horn and cruise control, they were working before. Any ideas please.

 

will be the clock spring under the steering wheel my 98 voyager had the same issue i rang chrysler and what really surprised me was that there was a recall and they changed it it was the type of recall that if it went wrong they would replace it my car was 10 years old when they did this

sometimes chrysler will surprise!!!!!!

 

It's not going to fix the lighting but the clockspring will fix the others and it's free as stated. Horn and cruise circuits are routed through the same ribbon wire harness through the clockspring assembly.

• Remedy:
  
  DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE CLOCKSPRING ASSEMBLY ON ALL VEHICLES WITH 70,000 MILES OR LESS. AN EXTENDED LIFETIME WARRANTY WILL ALSO BE PLACED ON THIS COMPONENT FOR ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES, REGARDLESS OF MILEAGE. DAIMLERCHRYSLER WILL ALSO REIMBURSE OWNERS WHO HAVE PAID TO HAVE THE CLOCKSPRING REPLACED ON THEIR VEHICLES. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN NOVEMBER 18, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403.
