Default RF Headphones for '04 T&C- Only from dealer?

I'm in search of two additional sets of headphones for my 2004 Town and Country. We just bought it and it came with the remote and the 2 headphone sets, but I have four children. So, is the only place to get these the dealer? I am trying to figure out if I can get Radio Frequency headphones from an aftermarket retailer, or if these will be programmed with a special frequency that I can only acquire from the dealership. Chrysler.com has some listed for $87 each, and when I called the dealership they quoted me $118 each.

Thanks for any info to help me get the right headphones for the best price.

TIA!
Tonyalaya

I used Ebay for our headphones. We have 3 kids so we needed extra headphones. It's a nice option to not have to hear the movie while driving. If I remember correctly they were anywhere from $40-$80 for a pair.

I actually used the set from my wife's Volvo XC90 and switched the channel. They work great!

Tonyalaya,(or anyone else)... Can you give me a little info on this?... I have an 04 (Grand Voyager) in UK with a RB3 satnav radio and a Mopar DVD. I know the DVD plays as I hear everything through the car's speakers, but was wondering about how the kids can watch a movie wiothout interrupting my driving... So, do all Mopar units have the ability to work with RF headsets or is it a special?

TIA.

GL.

Hey GrahamLemon, You need a remote control. Push the upper left button with the headphone symbol. That will let you toggle between movies in the van and not. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more.

Ah, thanks... That might explain it. I have a R/C that looks like a cheapie replacement from a high street electrical retailer, not a Mopar one, so I guess I need to get on ebay :-)

I am not sure the Mopar remote looks all that professional...

Never mind, thanks for trying to post an image. I did find some stuff on eBay - and I am sure my R/C is a cheapie as it says "Asda" on the label :-)
