could have been remain starters did u get them or the place u had install it get them?
also could be cheap parts

I have the security system problem too, but no mechanical problems with the starter. My red light comes on, flashes off for just a half second, then comes on and stays on. From your info, i suspect that i have self-test failure.

I have looked into rebuilt BCM.. $350 with a core return charge. But i hate to spend it until im sure. I am going to get the key batteries replaced anyway.

There is no way to have all of those mechanical started problems. Maybe you need a installation shim, or the flywheel teeth have some problems.
