Town & Country overheating HELP PLEASE!!
Hello All,
I need some help please!! I live in Texas so it's HOT over 110 degrees. I have a 2016 Town & Country 3.6 engine, that overheats when I drive it during the day when it's above 100 degrees. (when I say it overheats the coolant temperature will reach about 230-233 and will drop again. It NEVER passed the 3/4 mark or reach a coolant temp of over 233.
If driving at night or early morning when it's below 100 degrees it drives fine and coolant temp does not exceed 219-221.
I took it to the shop they replaced radiator last year because it was leaking, water pump, thermostats, coolant sensor and recently replaced the oil filter housing. After all that they now the shop is saying it's a head gasket issue.
Has anyone experience this issue before? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Has the radiator cap been tested? Sometimes a failing cap will allow the coolant temp to rise. Suggest replacing with OE or Stant only.
Has the operation of the fans been verified? Has an actual thermal reading of the engine and cooling system been done to confirmed the readings you are noting?
Do you need to continually top off the coolant (evidence of a leak)? Do bubbles appear in the coolant reservoir?
Has exhaust gas in the coolant been tested for? Loaner kits are available at many auto parts stores.
