Ah I see - thanks. Will see how the changer performs first. Also that battery part number is almost not existent on the google search. Is there a place that part number can be bought from?

Guys,

The battery let me down this morning again. I hope to receive the charger today or tomorrow. Someone told me Chrysler cars do have a pretty poor memory - not quite sure what it really means though. Since I intend to remove the battery out of the car and charge it for a few days at home before putting it back, I am not sure if this would cause any problem. Also I am assuming that I would still be able to lock/unlock the car manually without the battery in.

Thanks,
Mathias

Many thanks for the update. I will be considering that after the full charge. Received the charger yesterday. Took the battery out of the car and charge it all night. It now says it is fully charged. I have left it on the charger but will put it back in the car tonight.

Did put the battery back in the car yesterday. It works for now. Voltage was 12.80 when I put it in the car. If it goes flat again I will just replace it.

Note that with the battery out and the car locked, I couldn't use the key to manually open the driver door or any other door except for the back door or the boot. Got in the car from the boot and manually opened the driver door. All is fine now.

i try to translate your forum abaout "battery problems" . it's not very simple cause' it's not writen in good english but i think i understand.
i think my problem is as similar as your's. in the enter of winter, when it's cold outside, i have great difficulties to make the motor on. like you, all the needles turns to the right before comin to zero and before the lights come on. sometimes i've not enough battery to make the motor on and i've to take charge on an other car with cables. i've change the battery but it's egal it's make the same thing. not all the time but oftenly. it's began two years ago when my son come to play pushing the button opening the lateral back door twenty times when the car was parked.
since this time, i show my car to the garage bout they don't find anything wrong. i've change the battery but perhaps not too strong as your's ??
do you thing i've to take a battery like you or do you thing it's somthing else?
thank's a lot to speak good english
