Default What aftermarket cd player will fit 1997 Voyager?

Hi,

First post after my introduction!

Tomorrow I'll pick up our, new to us, 1997 Grand Voyager.
It's got the audio removed.

Already got hold of an original radio but the cd player is more of a challenge to get hold of.

What after market cd player will fit the car?
Also there will, no doubt, a different cable/ connection needed. Any sources known for an adapter cable?

Thx!

Thought that most ICE devices used the same connectors these days... could be wrong of course! Thats how Halfrauds do the install so easily and charge so very much for it!

You will need a cable specific to the voyager - with the correct conenctions. They are available: Autoleads PC2-58-4 - Chrysler Cherokee, Neon, PT Cruiser, Voyager Wiring Harness seems to be what you need - what we use in ours. You will also need the fascia adapter as well: Autoleads FP-02-00 - Chrysler Voyager 1997-2001 CD Stereo Fascia Panel - the locating holes changed with the new model in 2002.

A check as to where abouts in 1997 yours is, was there a change of model as they seem to be 1997-2002 models - not sure...

Thx, but is it not possible to keep the original radio and connect an aftermarket cd-player as substitute for the chrysler cd changer?
If all's not possible I'll resort to an FM-tranmitter though.
