Default Harmonic balancer problem?

In our 1998 Cirrus 2.5L, we have replaced the harmonic balancer pulley less than a year ago. I believe that we are going to have to replace this again, but wondered why this would happen again? The pulley we replaced was from a salvage yard, so it could have been bad, but if there is something else that we should be concerned with, I would like to know. Thanks.

Default RE: Harmonic balancer problem?

i would check the belt tensioner, and stuff like that isn't too expensive so go new, plus you should never have to worry about that again, the tensioner should be replaced if you ever change the belt, just peace of mind, if the belt is too loose or too tight, then it might cause vibrations.
