CD/dvd problem with MP3 is solvedhttp://www.chryslerforum.com/forum/images/smilies/sm
There were some earlier posts on this topic. I thought it wise to post this update.
It involves the use of a MP 3 player ( in my case a "Sansa c 200).
As we all know there are 3 female RCA jacks in the CD/DVD player. The idea is to hook up the portable player and then have the system go to AUX and play the music. The problem was that if there are more then 3 seconds between a track, the system defaults to the cd player. That is very irritating, to say the least.
I had purchased every 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo Minijack to Stereo connectors on the market. I bought every brand on the market but never could find one that sealed the signal till now.
The brand is from "Peripheral Electronics". It goes under the name of (I) Simple. It is available at Best Buy.
I have attached the website.

Finally, the solution is found, and for only $20.00
Enjoy.
