Chrysler 200 2011 Diagnostic Code P0562
I have a 2011 200 convertible with only 6800 miles. Last winter, and again this winter, the MIL is on and the reason is a P0562 code. The Chrysler mechanic suggested that the car needed to be driven at least every other day to keep the battery at full charge. The battery was at 12.45 volts so I fully charged it. BTW I was not having any performance issues or starting problems. Now that the battery is at full charge, how do I clear the P0562 code and turn off the Check Engine MIL? I tried clearing it using an OBDII device paired with the Torque Pro app but was unsuccessful. The app indicates the car needs to be started several times without another occurrence of the Low Voltage P0562 error and the MIL will reset by itself. Anyone have a suggestion on how to manually clear the code? Obviously I'm trying to avoid taking the car to the dealer and paying a small fortune to have this done. Thanks

Success
Regarding being unable to clear the P0562 code, problem solved. I hooked up the Vgate OBDII device, connected to the Torque Pro app on my Galaxy S3, but did not start the engine. I left the key in the accessory position. Then I pressed the Fault Clear button on the app. This time, there was no message saying the car had to be driven several times before the code would clear. It went through the process of looking for and clearing any fault codes and successfully turned of the P0562 and the MIL. So, having charged the battery, it is no longer causing the Low Voltage error -- for now. If things change, I'll post again.
