problem with vtss on 95 eagle vision tsi
I've had this car for 3 years with no problems at all. I gave to my mother a month ago and all of a sudden it does this. I went over and replaced the negative battery terminal because I knew it needed to be replaced. I then went to start the car and it would start and then die. I called my Dodge dealer and from what I told them that it was the vtss and told me to lock and unlock right front door 3 times open door reach in and start the car. Well I did that and it did nothing at all it is still not starting is there another way to disable the vtss by grounding out something. Thank You for any possible help

The only way I know to re-program the vtss once it's gotten to the point of not cranking is to have a Chrysler dealer do it with the DRB III machine. That will set you back some bux plus towing. A possible cause for the problem may be found if your mom has a large number of keys on her key ring, especially if there's another vehicle's electronic key on there.
