98 Concorde LXi trouble
I have a 98 Concorde 3.2L. The car was recently wrecked on the driver side. My problem is that when the wreck busted the driver fender, it tore some wires going to the power distribution box and dented the ecu/pcm (small dent about the size of your little finger tip). I put those broken wires back together, but now the car just wont start. It won't even try to crank. The accessory lights wont come on unless you turn on the headlights and pull the high beam switch all the way back. I am positive that I put the correct wires together, because I matched them by color, do you think my problem is the dented computer? If the dented computer turns out to be the culprit, can I just get a used computer from the same model car with the same p/n number and plug in straight in to work, or do i have to have the computer programmed from the dealer? I know some chevy cars require the dealer program, but if you use the same model car's computer with the same p/n number, would you need to reprogram? Thanks for any help in advance.

RE: 98 Concorde LXi trouble
the pcm only starts and runs the car does not have nething to do with the lights and replacing the pcm with a used one wont work the vin is burned into the pcm if u get a used one it will not run unless u have the same setup as the one u took it out of plus it would give u some codes and check engine light. i doubt the pcm is an issue.
