Anyone successfully burn a backup of their nav disc?
Hi all,
I have a '05 T&C with the RB1 radio, and the disc I have (version AC) is getting pretty badly scratched and discolored. The radio has a hard time reading it, and often, it will simply say that it can't read it at all. My jaw dropped after hearing the $200 price tag for a new disc, and I'd love not to pay that.
Fortunately, my computer reads the disc fine and I made an ISO of it. But, I can't get it to burn properly. I've tried using imgburn on an xp box, disk utility and toast on a mac, and the nav unit will never accept the disc, even though I set the book type to DVD-ROM. I'm using Verbatim DVD+R DL, and I don't want to waste more of them because they're pricey.
Has anyone got the nav unit to read a copy of AC disc? Thanks!!
