hi guys im new to all this so please forgive any mistakes.
i have a 2001 chrysler (dodge im in uk)neon, after replacing the battery my boot lid keeps popping open and fog light on dash keeps coming on but actual fog lamp on back of car stays off. i did have fuse box trouble when i first got this car but i sorted it, by look rather than skill has anybody ever heard of this?i have removed connector from boot lid to stop it opening whilst driving but can still hear it clicking under the dash
thanks for your help you may just save my sanity......

the first thing you have to do is find out why its opening. is it electrical, or is the latch missajuusted. if its elec its time to get out the old vom. if it uses a button to open the led check it out the button could be shorted out. does it have a realy between the botton and the deck lid? this happened to me. a gust of wind cought the lid and bent the arms holding the lid, so i guess iam saying check the alinement also

sounds like a short is loading the bat. drag out the vom a check for high currents on dif wires, start with the lid circuit.
