Default Gas Tank Straps

I've got a 2000 300M with a broken fas tank strap. Has anyone replaced their own straps and if so , how difficult was it?

I've replaced many gas tank straps. for me there was NO difficulty what so ever, for you I have no clue. I have many years experience, lift, quality hand tools, quality power tools, knowledge and decent problem solving skills. So if you are somewhere between a high end technican to a couch potato that have never seen the underside of the hood, the level of difficulty will vary.

That would probably be my biggest challenge would be access to the straps without a lift...I am fairly mechanically inclined, however I understand the restrictions of not being able to work with adequate room. My main question would be, do you have to remove the tank or are the strap bolts accessible ? I appreciate your help on this 22...
