Default Gasoline Beam out of Fuel Rail

Hi,

My name is Marko and I bought a Chrysler Vision 2 weeks ago.
Beautifull car... But there is 1 problem... there is a 3 feet long beam of gas out of the front of the left (seen from standing in front of the hood) fuel rail.
I triend everything.. changed every o ring... and It still keeps coming out.
2 times even the fuel pressure regulator popped out.

Could it be that there is too much pressure in the rail if the FPR is bad?

thanks in advance,

Marko

You didn't specify which engine. The 3.8L and the 3.3L engines have different set-ups. If you have excessive pressure, it could be caused by a clogged return line. The fuel pressure regulator is supposed to divert excess fuel back to the tank through the return line.
Regardless, the system ought not to be leaking like you describe. That's a very dangerous situation. There is supposed to be a fuel pressure test port that has a schrader valve (like a tire valve). That could be bad. The fuel pressure regulator could be bad. If you can't find any obvious source for the leak, get the car towed in to a shop for some professional repairs. This thing is a time bomb waiting to blow.

It's the 3.5 litre version.
But I already solved it...
Where the crossover fuel line enters the rail.. I found a "hidden compartment" containing another O ring... That was the faulty one.. Replaced it and its 100% leakproof again.
The FPR popping out was because I forgot to put the upper part of the rail on top of it holding everything down.

Thanks anyway!
