Headlight appears to be foggy. From where to replace?
Hello everyone.
Forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong forum section. I wasn't sure if the question fit into this section or the Sebring specific section. Anyways, I own a 1997 Chrysler Sebring JX (2.4L 4 cylinder, automatic transmission). Upon entering my garage just yesterday, I noticed that the headlight appeared opaque looking (I believe this is referred to as headlight fogging). I've been told that replacing the light is the simplest solution, so I've decided to go ahead and do that by purchasing an aftermarket version online. I have done some browsing around online and I've narrowed it down to two companies that I may possibly buy from. Before I make the purchase, though, I'd like some sort of verification that either company is legitimate. The reason I'm suspicious of them is that the price difference between the two companies is so significant. Has anyone dealt with either of these companies? Thanks in advance.

3M kit
I used a polishing kit by 3M for about $20 - $25. Three or four different grades of sandpaper. Kinda scares you at first, after the first step the headlight looks like a baseball. Upon completing each step it gets better and better. When I finished the extremely fogged lenses of our 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport AWD you couldn't tell the finished product from a new one. The key is to take your time and be thorough.
I plan on doing the same treatment to my 2001 Chrysler Intrepid very soon.
just my $0.02, for what it's worth.

I'd try the polishing first. If that doesn't come out to your satisfaction, shop for replacement lights on eBay, as per TNtech. I was able to find a pair of brand new lights on eBay for my 2001 convertible for around $90, including shipping.
