Default Hot wire locations

First post on this forum. Hello all. I am installing an after market wireless backup camera the power for the actual camera comes from the back up lights, simple enough. The power for the video screen is designed to come from the cigarette lighter but I want to hard wire it in to a keyed hot wire going down the A pillar if one exists. If I have to go under the dash I will but would rather not go there. Anyone know if there are any keyed wires in the A pillar anywhere. Thanks for your time. 2010 300 Touring

I want to hard wire it because it is taking up my only cigarette lighter that I have in the car and I need it for charging my cell phone. A simple 12 volt wire with ground will do. By the way I located the screen on the upper side of my visor so it is out of sight of thieves. I tried using the mirror light but can't get it to release from the visor to do the wiring.

There are small slits in the light cover use a pick or test light tip and it will pop out

I looked into all of the slits on the light that I could see but found no release tabs. I figured that the wire was in the visor tube but really did not want the screen wire to show as it crossed to the mount but that seems to be the best idea so far. I don't suppose you know exactly which slits the release tabs are located under do you. Thanks for your time by the way.

Finally decided to use the mirror light wires which go through the visor tube. They aren't switched as I would have liked but at least the back up camera works this way. Thanks all for checking the thread out and thanks to Mr NoizyToyz for his help. Have a great day.
