Default Idle Speed

My 2004 PT Cruiser, automatic, seems to want to die at idle when I have the A/C on.
When I am driving all is well, but at a red light for example, the RPMs lower, the car
seems to want to die and the A/C cuts off. I checked the relay in the fuse box under
the hood, I did the self diagnostics and nothing comes up. There are not any indicator
lights on the dash showing that there is a problem. Any Help?
