Lightbulb Vehicle inspection services?

Hey i'm looking to buy an 07 300 (out of state)...

I'm not the most tech-savvy guy so I was going to get it inspected by a vehicle inspection service--- AiM Mobile Inspections (google them) so I was wondering if anybody has used them before, or any other inspection company. Let me know if you guys have any advice on the matter before I move forward with it. Thanks!

I've never used a service before... Hopefully they don't charge too much! The main things I check are fluids (clean? Burnt?), brakes (rotors in good shape? Pads?) Rust, is there a lot of rust under the car or hiding in the corners of the body work? Any signs of previous leakage? Coolant clean? Tires look okay? Do all of the electronics work? Body damage visible or body repairs? I would Carfax that thing before you even send someone out to look at it.

I would take the time to go see it yourself as well, pictures may say a thousand words, but they hide them too.

Yea it's actually not too expensive ($129) considering the amount of the vehicle. They also have service where they bundle in a Carfax-type report for a few extra bucks.

The problem is it's out of state so I don't think it would be worth my time and travel costs to do it myself. They do a check for those kind of things (brakes, rust, damage, repairs, etc.) I think I'll give it a shot so we'll see how it goes...

Good luck man!! Be careful though, is there not a similar deal closer to you? I'm nervous about the whole thing and I'm not even the buyer!!

Yea, that's why I was thinking of using AiM Mobile Inspections. They do a road test + the 150 point inspection for interior/exterior/underneath/etc. Thanks guys!
