voyager problems
i own a 1997 grand voyager and for the past few months its been making a howling sound. the faster you go the louder it gets. i've put new brakes/rotars and tires to try and fix it. as far as i know its not out of alighnment. the noise comes from the front passenger side and it seems to get a little worser ever week. anyone got any ideas?

RE: voyager problems
that door thing is odd... but the howling could be that boot for your drivetrain... check that out. It'll look like a rod, with this plunger lookin thing on it... I dont really know how to describe it. well it should actually be a boot from the tranny and one on the wheel.. should be the one on the wheel... other than that,.. I dont know what to tell you... that door though... that sucks,.. just deal with that I guess... we had a voyager and hated it... traded it for a ****in chevy venture,.. hate that too,.. so... time to trade in for something that's not a soccer mom car...

good call on the drive shaft if the boot is ripped you could have water damage as well as the grease gone the parts are pretty cheap maybe 105.00 but install costs ya the door well i can tell ya this try the latches it could be the thing is bent or jammed and for the light they have door pin switches in them that push shut to shut the light off good luck i had a 1996 dodge minivan and no probls like that here just lucky i guess
