I have 07Aspen with the 5.7 Hemi that keeps shutting off only when it is cold has not through an engine code has anybody else have this problem if so what did you do to fix it thank you so much

 

It doesn't happen only with the remote start does it? The RS will fail if there's a code stored in the PCM from my experience. Otherwise, exactly when does this happen?

No it doesn't have remote start on it . It just started a couple weeks ago it only does it when its cold after it warmed up its fine. It thow one engine code and I put it on a computer and then had it fixed but still doing it . The code said number 3cylinder miss fire so I change the coil pack and plugs and I cleaned the throttle body also. I also thought it might be the throttle position sensor but it doesn't have one is what all the part store are saying. So I don't know what it could be.

 

...maybe a bad tstat calling for a false rich/lean? When the PCM was scanned, do you recall if the air/coolant temps were reading ok? Did you check fuel pressure?

I recently purchased an 09 Chrysler Aspen 5.7 Hemi 4 x 4 with 120k on it. Are there any oil recommendations...synthetic or conventional?
