2007 Pacifica Stalls when slowing down
I bought my 2007 Pacifica new. Several years ago it began to die when slowing down, at first when it was cold. I can slip it into neutral and it will start right back up. When the problem first started it only happened one time. Now it happens a lot, even when it has been sitting only a few minutes and it dies sometimes as many as three times. It always starts right back up. Sometimes when I see the RPMs dropping I can hit the accelerator and it will speed the engine back up before it dies but this is hard to do when going into a turn. I have had it checked at the dealer several times but they can't fix it. I read on one forum that it was caused by the top crankshaft sensor so I replaced it and it still happens. I would appreciate any help. I can't let my wife drive the vehicle because I am afraid she won't be able to handle it in turns or if she has to stop quick when it dies.

2007 Pacifica Stalling
I have tried searching Pacifica stalling as my search and there are a lot of people with that problem but their Pacifica has trouble with restarting. Mine always starts right back up. I just slip it into neutral while coasting, start it back up and slip it right back into drive.

New Discovery to 2007 Pacifica Stalling
I have found that if I apply the brakes immediately when stopping
instead of letting off the accelerator and coasting before applying brakes it doesn't die. Does this help any of you mechanics figure out what is wrong?
