Greeting from Seoul, Korea
Greetings from Seoul, Korea. I was browsing the internet for information on my Crossfire, when I happen to see this (I assume) new forum. When I saw someone, Jae4eve from Korea, I decided to register too.
I live and work in Korea as a contractor for USFK. I own two Chrysler products, which is surprising because I swore I would never purchase another Dodge/Chrysler automobile after dumping my Dodge 1994 Intrepid - worse car I had ever owned. But today's Chrysler is a whole different world since Mercedes Benz bought Chrysler.
I took delivery of my Crossfire (XF) in September 2004. My wife and I were so impressed with the quality that we sold her 2004 Lexus ES330 and bought a 2005 300C - it just arrived this past week. Chrysler does have a Five Star Delearship in Apgujong-Dong, Seoul - Rex Motors. They are absolutely first rate. There is a whole story behind my purchase of the XF, but for right now, let me say that Rex Motors sells both the XF (Coupe and Roadster) for about $65,000 and the 300, 300 Touring, and 300C (just began to sell in May) for around $70,000. Korea will not allow the SRT-6 XF or the SRT-8 300C in country.
Chrysler has not sold too many XF - too expensive considering the Mercedes SLK 350 sells for $72,000 right down the street from Rex Motors. However, the 300 is growing in popularity, but to my knowledge only a couple 300Cs have been sold. Nearly all the 300C Hemi's in Korea, approximately 5 to date, belong to United States Forces Korea personal (i.e., military, civilians, or contractors).
I hope jae4eve drops me a line. Looks like a great forum. I am also a member of another terrific forum dedicated to the XF - Crossfirecommunity.net. It too is a great forum with terrific people interested in the XF. Drop in a visit.
Great Job.
