Default New researching buying a used PT-Cruiser

Hi all,
New to this forum doing some research about possibly buying a used PT.

Looking at a 2001 PT-Limited, and wondering if I'm doing the right thing.

Car is Candy Red, sunroof, full Limited package, automatic.. 73k miles, basic dealer serviced til 36k, then regular oil changes fomr there..

Any previous problems such as the transmission? Personally, I wouldn't buy any vehicle with over 30,000 miles...but that's just me.

hey viper ya know 30k is low if you take care of your car ya know i have owned a few 100k cars and yeah a few problems have occured but as long as you do regular oil changes and maintanece all is good.
i see about 4 people a week that have jeeps with over 150k on them and they say well its about time i changed the timing belt on this thing. or maybe a water pump needs replacing.
so dont knock the cars over 30 personally ya get better deals on those with high miles.
not knocking ya viper
back to the topic as long as the price is right i would say go for it.
i have not seen any major problems on the pts
