Oil Pressure Light 2000 Town and Country
I have a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country 3.8L 142,000 miles. Two days ago the low pressure oil sending light and alarm activated. This was after a 65 mile trip on the highway. I needed to add 1 quart of oil and we returned home. As we got back the light would flicker again but when we stopped at traffic lights (low rpm) and when the car turned sharply. Had oil changed yesterday with new filter 5w 30 oil used as recommended. Today we drove about 10 miles and I noticed the light and sound again when we turned. Oil lever is fine. No engine noise at all nor was there the other day.
Any thoughts on the cause of this issue?

Thanks so much, Kevin. You were 100% correct. When I took the old sensor out there was oil in the electrical connections. I clean it up and put in the new one and so far so good. I will need to drive it a little bit to insure the problem is fixed. For some reason the low oil light would come on but only after the engine and been run 10 to 12 miles or so...then the light would flicker at low rpm such as stop lights.
Ps. Do you know any online places to get a replacement connector. That blue clip on it would not budge and it cracked. I feel I should replace the connector. Thanks again for the help!
